How we selected our music
Hey, guys, we are currently still in quarantine. But, thanks to technology, my group and I have still been communicating via text and facetime. Throughout the last week and part of this week, we have been looking for the perfect sound/music that would match with our film opening well. We have been looking at a few websites to find non-copyright music. We chose to take this route because of course, it is the simplest way to obtain music for our opening. Before, we had decided to ask an artist, Bad Bunny for permission for a song we thought would fit perfectly. Sadly, the message we sent via Instagram resulted in no response. We decided to ask early but just wanted to wait it out in case we got a response. After reading the blog it will be obvious there was no response.
That's why then we decided to go with copyright-free music. As, after all this waiting there was no response and we needed to select the song as soon as possible. After this decision, we went on a few websites to look for music. Looking through these websites we seemed to find no music that really suited what we wanted. Instead, we decided to go on youtube. Here we found what we were looking for, a Spanish trap, but with no lyrics. We believe this will go with the aesthetic we wanted to match with, a traditional Hispanic, but with some American customs.
